ShowFolks of Sarsota Tent #122 held its March meeting Wednesday in Sarasota.
The meeting started with a very nice Pot Luck dinner with over 60 people in attendence.
When the meeting started, David Orr announced the winners of the OABA Elephant Handlers sales contest. There was a tie for most pins sold between the Charlie Smith Tent #131 and Maxine House, Eastern CFA VP.
A short business meeting followed with the tent approving some changes to the tent by-laws.
Then the action started with a huge auction of circus items donated by tent members and show folks. It took over an hour to auction off the huge number of posters, books, photos and other collectables.
