The 2006 induction of circus greats into the The Circus Ring of Fame was held on Saturday January 21st in Sarasota, FL on a site developed by John Ringling, St. Armands Circle.
Inducted into the Ring of Fame this year:

The ceremony started with a 30 minute
concert of circus music presented by the Sarasota Circus Concert Band
under the direction of Charles Schlarbaum.

Standing next to Charlie is Tim Holan, former long time trainmaster
and General Manager on Ringling Red Unit, Kitty Smith, and Mike
Melssen former Ringling Blue General Manager.

Speeches were made by the sponsors,
family and friends about each inductee. Then the plaques were
unveiled.
