CFA Members Volunteer to Help Build the Howard Tibbals Exhibit at

 Ringling Museum of the Cirucs

CFA members Pete Adams, Southern Vice President, and Don McGarvey have volunteered to work on the model railroad which will be part of the Howard Tibbals collosal model of the American Circus scheduled to open at the Ringling Museum of the Circus in Sarasota in winter 2006.

The giganitic model will feature over one mile of minature tracks. It will take approximately 63,360 railroad ties and 126,720 metal tie plates and each plate is secured by an average of 2.5 miniature spikes. Think of it that is more than 300,000 railway spikes.

Pete and Don will have a great time helping to assemble this grand exhibit. Circus Fans Association of America appreciates their willingness to participate in this worthwhile event to preserve the history of the great America Circus industry.
