VIENNA, Va., Feb. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Feld Entertainment announced today that Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® Hometown Edition, an exciting one- ring circus extravaganza, is beginning rehearsals at the Bayfront Arena in St. Petersburg, FL, in anticipation of a March 9th premiere in Rome, Georgia.
All of the fun and excitement, the clowns, animals and the daring, death- defying acts that make up a Ringling Bros. performance will be present in one ring that blurs the lines between audiences and performers. The action and the antics will be so up-close and personal that the audience will be an integral part of each act!

Acclaimed Director/Choreographer Philip McKinley, fresh off a smash hit Broadway production (The Boy From Oz), is back with Ringling Bros. to take up the creative helm. Like Feld, he is excited about what he calls "a whole new circus: a reality circus. The whole approach is different, but it's still a circus with all the great animals, clowns and high-octane acts that audiences expect from Ringling Bros."
