Paul Gutheil reports: Circus legend Hovey Burgess had an incredible 75th birthday Celebration at Dixon Place this past Tuesday in NY City.
The list of who's who is too long for the Blog, but among the notables was Bill Irwin, Dick
Monday (who came from Texas), Paul Binder, Jessica Hentoff (founder of Circus Harmony),
and many others, including comedy juggler Michael David.
The event was hosted by Stephanie Monseu, co- founder of The Bindlestiff Family Cirkus. Also on hand and in the show (a lot of exceptional talent) was her co-founder Keith Nelson.
I was so blessed to have been there and photographed this exceptional event which was covered by two exceptional professional photographers.
